He was saying GOS lacks polish because the AOSP messaging app doesn't have a dark mode (fwiw it's bad, I agree.) I stated that the projects' recommendation was to install the SMS app of your choice because a security project's goal wasn't the appearance of an app for an inherently insecure protocol to which I was told I was brainwashed and drank the kool aid
